The much loved Annual Winsford Industrial Estate Quiz for 2018 was held last Thursday at Wharton Conservative Club, and a great, competitive night was had by all!!
After a delicious dinner supplied by Rucks to Eat, 8 teams fought it out to determine who would lift the coveted Winsford Challenge Cup this year, and after several rounds including pictures, general knowledge and music followed by a tense tie-breaker for the cup involving the station name of “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwll-llantysiliogogogoch”, one team emerged victorious …

Data Recording (Newbury Data) who came a triumphant FIRST this year to win the trophy for a second year in a row!
Sharp as a Bowling Ball (MAM 2) who narrowly missed out to come SECOND!
And Let’s get quizzical (MAM 1) who took THIRD place after a great effort!
The special “Gallant Competitors” award went to CWAC Meridian House (George’s Angels), who won the all new ‘wooden spoon trophy’, and best team name went to Gemco with their name of “Hoof Hearted” (say it out loud).
