Weaver Vale Housing Trust number 18 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For!
Weaver Vale Housing Trust is celebrating after not only securing a place in the Sunday Times Top 100 Not-for-Profit Organisations to Work For list for the 6th consecutive year – but also holding its place at number 18!
The Trust, which employs more than 350 staff and owns over 6,000 homes in Frodsham, Northwich, Winsford and surrounding rural areas, found out at a glittering awards ceremony held in London earlier this week.
Steve Jennings, Chief Executive of Weaver Vale Housing Trust, said: “We are absolutely delighted to appear in the list for the sixth consecutive year and to hold our position at number 18 is fantastic. He said:
“The Trust is run on strong values and it’s reassuring to know that the staff have faith in the work we are doing to benefit the communities and customers we serve.
“It’s great for the Trust to be recognised at such a high profile event but what also matters is the day to day efforts of our staff to deliver a high quality service to our customers. I fully recognise that if staff are happy in their work then they will provide an even greater service to our customers.”
The Sunday Times Top 100 list is based on results from the independent national Best Companies survey which has been conducted since 2001 and is widely recognised as the UK’s largest definitive survey of workplace satisfaction.
This year, The Sunday Times Best Companies and Best not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For lists have been derived from entries from hundreds of organisations. Employees were surveyed for the list along with an evaluation of each organisation’s key statistics, processes and policies.
Employees are asked 70 questions relating to workplace culture, leadership, personal wellbeing, career development, pay and benefits, their feelings towards colleagues, managers & the company as a whole and giving something back to the community & environment.
The Sunday Times list containing the Top 100 companies is published online.
