Road Five’s Safety Shield Global has partnered with an engineering business to launch an innovative app to help improve workplace safety.
The site team reporting and accident management app, known as S.T.R.E.A.M, is being implemented by AmcoGiffen – a company with a growing team of 1,500 permanent employees specialising in construction services.
Designed to provide real-time alerts to supervisors, the app utilises human form recognition technology tailored to specific site dimensions and plant operations, and warns of activities, processes or behaviours which could lead to incidents.
The S.T.R.E.A.M app is being rolled out by AmcoGiffen across all its sites, and Safety Shield is also planning to introduce the technology to other relevant clients in due course.
