Coveris is a leading global manufacturer, creating high performance and technically
engineered packaging solutions. At our Winsford site, we produce polythene film for a range
of established customers across multiple industries including agricultural, industrial, and food
based.

The Role
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse department. Working as
part of a team, the successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day activities of the
Warehouse department.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm on a 1-week
rotating basis. The salary for this role begins at £25,641pa with a paid 30-minute break.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To offload, check quantity and quality of incoming supplies. Ensure the external
    storage of polymer is neat and safely stocked.
  • To ensure the correct storage of pallets and effective pallet distribution.
  • To assist the Stock Controller with polymer rotation.
  • To load and unload machine parts for the maintenance department as required.
  • To pick all finished goods and assemble loads in the designated load area.
  • To be responsible for the sorting of empty pallets into good quality, substandard and
    returnable sets
  • To Empty waste mini bins/skips to the external skips outside following the company
    EMS procedure and policies.
  • To unload vehicles as per Company procedure, ensuring all products are stored in the
    correct designated area and are free from any contamination.
  • Completion of ad-hoc duties to meet the needs of the business, subject to appropriate
    training.
  • Responsible for maintaining standards of Housekeeping and Hygiene.

    Skills and Experience
  • Current FLT counterbalance license.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the health & safety and the wellbeing of individuals and
    the environment.
  • Ability to work closely with other members of the team ensuring cooperation and a
    team working atmosphere.
  • Have excellent attention to detail
