Working for the UK’s largest garage equipment and service company, you will be part of a team providing excellent HSEQ advice and support throughout the business, leading a positive HSEQ culture along with driving clear communication and continual improvements throughout the business.
LOCATION
Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire (HQ) or Winsford (GDC)
HOURS OF WORK
5 day week, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00
HOLIDAYS
25 days, plus Bank Holidays (1 extra day loyalty holiday after completion of 5 years’ service)
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This positi on is ideal for an entry level or early years development into the HSEQ field.
The role and responsibilities will be in line with full training, support and development.
As part of your role, you will help to drive the positive HSEQ Culture throughout the company and be a team player in all aspects of HSEQ.
Present health safety, environmental and quality agendas.
Deliver HSEQ statistics and findings showing trends to the HSEQ Manager
Support all departments on all matters of HSEQ, occupational health and welfare matters.
Perform internal audits.
Be involved in ISO9001 – quality, ISO45001 health and safety and ISO14001 environmental.
Supporting contractor and supplier approval through safe contractor.
Maintain supplier approval portals for external accreditations.
To support in the development of the companies’ policies and procedures ensuring annual recertifications are achieved.
Assisting in the preparation of risk assessments and method statements in conjunction with management and reviewing sub-contractors risk assessments.
Administration tasks that support with KPI reporting and data collection
Internal and external communication via email and phone calls.
Maintain HSEQ documents and register in line with HSEQ procedure.
Maintain records and registers for building and equipment inspections.
Other ad-hoc tasks necessary to support the business.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Previous audit experience desirable (training can be given).
ISO knowledge (training can be given).
Strong att enti on to detail and accuracy.

IT literacy
