About Winsford Industrial Estate
In November 2005, Winsford was the first industrial estate in the UK to become a Business Improvement District, and the estate is now home to a wide variety of different businesses and companies.
Located conveniently in the heart of Cheshire, our position offers excellent transport links across the whole of the North West, Midlands and Wales, ensuring an exceptional trading environment with easy access to markets in the surrounding areas. Our close proximity to both the M6 motorway and the major A-roads that link the estate with Merseyside, Chester and Wales, enables companies to be extremely well connected, allowing their trade to flourish.
Positioned in such tranquil settings, Winsford Industrial Estate offers companies, organisations and their employees a great location to work, trade and prosper from. Nearly 4000 people are currently employed on the estate in a variety of professions, ranging from food manufacturing, chemical supplies, packaging and engineering, and the estate has a first-rate mixture of premises and property available to organisations, ranging from professional start up business incubator units to large manufacturing, warehousing and logistics facilities.
Situated in Cheshire West and Chester boundaries, the council offers business owners, managers and employees an excellent quality of life. Scenic rural landscapes border the quiet, idyllic towns, which feature everything from quiet country pubs to chic and stylish restaurants. There are a variety of magnificent walks through the inspiring countryside, all giving an opportunity to relax and soak up the scenery. Why not visit the Sandstone Trail which takes you through the magnificent Delamere Forest, or sample the Victorian Trail Walk in Winsford, taking in the area’s industrial heritage whilst still appreciating its rural character.
