Job Overview

Role Purpose

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth in our recycling operations, with a specific focus on expanding our plastic and paper recycling customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers across diverse industries
• Specialise in sourcing LDPE film for our in-house processing system
• Develop and manage a growing portfolio of recycling clients
• Conduct comprehensive site inspections and material quality assessments
• Generate and follow up on sales leads
• Prepare detailed quotations and account management documentation
• Utilise Microsoft Office software for reporting and communication
• Perform regular customer outreach via calls, emails, and in-person visits

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven track record in Business Development or Sales
• Preferably with experience in waste and recycling industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse client portfolio
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Essential Requirements:

• Valid driving licence
• Ability to travel to client sites in surrounding areas
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Working Arrangements

• Primary base: Winsford depot
• Flexible working model including on-site and remote prospecting
