  • Hours: Rotating Shift Pattern
    • Monday – Friday
    • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Week 1)
    • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Week 2)
  • Reporting to: Production Manager

Role Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Operative to support our advanced LDPE post-consumer granules production process, focusing on quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Production and Quality Management

  • Support the Production Manager in achieving:
    • Health and Safety compliance
    • Product Safety standards
    • Product Quality specifications
    • Environmental procedures
  • Operate Erema pelletizing machinery (full training provided)
  • Monitor and maintain production output and operational efficiency
  • Promptly report any product specification issues or performance concerns

Team and Personal Development

  • Develop individual and team objectives
  • Enhance team flexibility across the production department
  • Support team members in meeting production targets
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Safety and Compliance

  • Perform duties safely and responsibly in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Participate in Health & Safety meetings
  • Propose safety improvements
  • Complete ad-hoc duties with appropriate training

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • RTITB Forklift License
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in:
    • Shift work
    • Plastics manufacturing/recycling environment
    • Product safety and environmental awareness

  • Physical fitness for industrial work
  • Ability to follow complex procedures
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
