Job Overview

• Location: Winsford Industrial Estate, CW7 3QY
• Salary: Competitive and Negotiable
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Reporting to: Depot Manager

Role Purpose

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Multi-Skilled Operative to support our dynamic recycling and logistics operations, ensuring efficient material handling, quality control, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Material Management

• Maintain consistent raw material supply and material feed
• Conduct thorough inspections and unloading of raw materials from trailers
• Complete comprehensive paperwork checks and systematic storage
• Organize and store consumables and raw materials in designated locations
• Ensure proper storage and placement of finished goods

Operational Excellence

• Maintain yard to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization
• Ensure finished product packaging meets precise customer specifications
• Strictly adhere to all task cards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational instructions
• Maintain exceptional housekeeping, hygiene, and environmental standards

Safety and Compliance

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly, in full compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
• Actively participate in Health & Safety meetings
• Propose improvements to existing safety protocols
• Participate in company-identified training courses and development activities
• Complete ad-hoc duties as required, subject to appropriate training

Ideal Candidate Profile

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar operational role
• Background in health, safety, hygiene, and environmental awareness
• RTITB Forklift License (advantageous but not essential)
